If you land a close quarters Tornado in a 1v1 situation, if you hold out long enough you can get and extra E->Q combo onto them before you ult. Why? Because of the windwall's hitbox they have to get their model all the way past the wall in order to attack you this is an easy way to bait out an ADC and if they walk through the wall just simply dash through the wall and onto the other side then slowly while AAing them make your way onto the other side to maximize the efficiency of your wall. The best way to fight an ADC 1v1 or against the team is to put the wall right on top of them. When you teamfight you don't want to dash in unless your target is extremely out of position, and I'm talkin literally in the clearing with no visible teammates in sight.ĬC KILLS THE YASUO, CC will absolutely destroy you 100% of the time this is why you are never EVER the first one to go into a 5v5 teamfight unless you have someone on your team that can get a multiple man knockup then it is allowed if not you always want to go in after all the CC is blown.ĭon't try to windwall every projectile it's simply not worth the CD you want to do your best job juking and taking as little damage as possible and saving your windwall for snares or roots anything that can CC you from a distance. Remember you don't do DPS when you're dead. Never be the first one into a teamfight, You will get absolutely annihilated and you won't be able to kill anyone when you're dead. I usually wait until I see the enemy jungler reveal themselves or I know that I'm safe from ganks. For example if you're lane is pushing past river onto the opposing side it's better to sit back and poke/farm with Q rather than dashing and trading. Also when trading you want to keep in mind where the enemy jungler started and you want to draw out a rough estimation as to when they're going to gank and if they're going to gank you. Now with the recent nerfs to his HP you want to be pretty careful with this you want to not take tons of damage from minions and you certainly don't want to lose the trade. TRADING - Now when you trade early game with Yasuo you want to find the most direct path straight to the enemy champion as you can without having to use the E on them, The reason being is that you want to dash in and get a few AA's off and as they start to run away you dash onto them and put a few more AA's into them then you can dash straight out through the minions. IE/Shiv/T2 Boots/LW/(Lifesteal item of choice)/GA/T2 Red Trink I usually go straight into IE then LW for insane amounts of damage and if you're getting blown up in teamfights pick up a vamp scepter and go cutlas. PUSH THEM OUT OF LANE AND DENY THEM OF FARM.īUILD - I usually start Dorans/1pot/yellow -> Avarice if I can afford it if not I go with another dorans, sometimes boots if the jungler is ganking often or the enemy laner is extremely aggro and my E isn't enough to dodge the skillshots, pots because I trade often so I need to stay in lane as long as possible by early midgame you should have your shiv this is your goal if not zeal + avarice with t1 boots is also fine. champs that can gap close or champs that hit over your wind wall.įARMING -You want to rush shiv as fast as possible once you get shiv you HAVE to abuse your trading skill by constantly going in and harassing the shiv gives you enough crit to give you some free RNG trades onto the enemy laner. His early game is arguable one of the strongest because of his E and something that should be abused incredibly often especially against champs with 0 escapes it's also a good way to nausiate your enemy laner if you dash around often making them miss their skillshots.Įarly game tips - Focus on farming and trading, If you're against champs that you know you cannot trade against start Q and poke from a distance. This is my current rune setup for Yasuo, The reason I went all scaling health yellows is specifically because of his most recent nerfs which really hindered his early game trades which is something all Yasuo's just capitalize on. (I went from Silver 5 - > Plat 4 in about a week thanks to Yasuo.) I don't have 1000 Games on Yasuo but I did study into him a bit on my way out of gold.
